Volunteering

Are you interested in making a difference to someones day.  We are always needing volunteers.  If you are interested in volunteering for us please do get in touch via the contact form below – we’d love to hear from you.

We presently have four vacancies:

Fridays and Mondays 12.15 – 1.15pm. Cleaner. We are looking for a person who loves to make things spic and span, someone who will wash up, load the dishwasher, and put everything back in its place ensuring the kitchen is left spotless and to sweep and tidy the Hall.

Fridays 9.45 – 12.15. Assistant. We are looking for someone to join the team which sets up the tables in the Hall, makes sandwiches and prepares the food bags ready for delivery.

Fridays and Mondays 12noon – 12.45pm. Two drivers to join our team that delivers meals to the elderly. All our hot meals are divided into rounds of about five drop offs mainly in FY8.

When we get back to normal after the pandemic we will be looking at setting up a Community Drivers project to assist our service users who are unable to access public transport to get to the weekly groups.  If you would be interested in this project please do get in touch for more information.

OPERATION ISOLATION – LYTHAM ST ANNES

Since the 23rd March, throughout the Covid-19 pandemic we have been cooking and delivering freshly cooked hot three course meals and a sandwich supper twice a week to elderly people in the FY8 area.  The service has been a life-line to some of our service users whose families have been unable to visit during the isolation period.  It has been so popular that we will continue to deliver food for as long as it is needed.  Many volunteers have supported the delivery service but as people who were furloughed have now returned to work we are looking for drivers to volunteer on Mondays and Fridays.  If you can help please complete the form below and we will be in touch with you.
